Spending time at Zwatkops Raceway experiencing Mercedes AMG cars fitted with these tires provided proof of the capabilities of the new tires.
Proof was provided by the comparisons when driving similar cars that were fitted with “Budget tires” instead of the Continentals. Taking the cars through similar track sections in wet and dry conditions immediately showed the differences.
At the end of the day, it’s safety that’s compromised. In my book, that’s always a non-negotiable.
